COOKING WITH KEITH
Learn from the expert at one of our recently launched cookery classes.
Keith has come up with a range of cookery classes covering topics to suit every interest in food. The informal and friendly classes are held once a month at the Home of Food Love Catering. There are only 6 people in each class. (See photos in the About; Gallery section of our website)
WHAT DO THE CLASSES INVOLVE AND HOW MUCH ARE THEY?
The classes start at 10am with coffee and finish at 2pm, at a price of only £49.95 per person including lunch and tasting throughout the day (and even a cheeky glass of wine if you like).
Each course is designed for cooks of all levels, with questions being welcomed throughout the day. You are invited to get ‘hands on’ with the cooking, but it isn’t essential. Course notes and full recipes with methods are provided in a booklet to keep.

CLASS DETAILS AND INFORMATION
All About Eggs
This course covers the wonder of eggs as an ingredient and its versatility and wide variety of uses in both sweet and savoury cooking. Dishes include: Eggs En Coccote and Keith’s own secret recipe luxury Baked Egg Custard.
For those of you who would love to be able to impress your family/friends with some key baking skills, this course covers a range of skills from the traditional Victoria Sponge to the best sticky toffee pudding you will ever eat.
Perfect for fish lovers, this class covers learning how to cook fish with perfect crispy skin, different batters and sauces to use with fish, seafood & Keith’s secret recipe Luxury Fish Pie.
From Keith’s secret ‘Liquid Gold’ Christmas gravy to homemade stuffing, sprouts gratin and the perfect roast potatoes, not to mention mini Frangipane mince pies – if you like to show your skills at Christmas, this is the course for you!
For dessert lovers, this class is completely different to the ‘Baking Mad’ course and covers things such as indulgent white chocolate rice pudding, homemade cinder toffee, chocolate pave, fridge cheesecake, chocolate mousse and more!
The Humble Potato
Who doesn’t love potato? This class is designed to give you some different ideas for how to use potatoes in your cooking and some top tips on how to cook the perfect chips & roasties. From perfect creamy mash to luxury Dauphinois potatoes there is something for everyone in this class.
Scrummy Soups and Sauces
This class will teach you the basics for making delicious soups which make a great healthy snack or starter to a meal. Homemade soups have so much more flavour than tinned soups and are far better for you and are much easier to make than people think. Sauces can make or break a meal and with a few of Keith’s tips and secret recipes you will be amazing your family and friends with your skills. This course will also include learning to cook the key ingredients to go with the sauces eg, steak and fish.
